James Nadel

James Nadel

James Nadel is the Managing Member and President of EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Inc., which currently manages a portfolio of over 500,000,000 Kilowatt Hours of electricity on behalf of their customers. EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Inc. is also a partner with the New Jersey Clean Energy Department, as well as the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and has been a pioneer in developing and implementing Energy Efficiency Projects with the benefit of State Incentives. Prior founding EPA MEMO-Cogen in 1987, Mr. Nadel was a successful real estate investor owning multifamily dwellings throughout the New York City area, and currently owns and manages several large retail shopping centers. Jim earned his B.A. in Political Sciences from NYU in 1972.

Mitchell Nadel

Mitchell Nadel

Mitchell Nadel is the Senior Vice President and Controller of EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Inc. His responsibilities, include budget forecasting, construction management and procurement, vendor and employee relations, human resource management, and state an federal compliance. Prior to his employment at EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Mr. Nadel managed 5,000,000 square feet of Class A office space for a AT&T in Atlanta, Geogia. Mr. Nadel earned a Bachelor in Communications Sciences from New York University in 2001 and an MBA in Information Technology Management and Human Resources from American Intercontinental University in 2006.

Roger Nadel

Roger Nadel

Roger Nadel is Director of Operations of EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Inc. His responsibilities include customer retention, pricing, ESCO evaluation and analysis. Prior to his employment at EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Mr. Nadel was a branch manager for a global security firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Nadel is currently obtaining his Bachelors in Business Administration from Fordham University.

Michael E. Mollin

Michael E. Mollin

Michael E. Mollin, Director of Business Development, has spent twenty (20) years working on Wall Street as an advisor to high, net worth individuals and small to medium sized institutions. Prior to his employment at EPA/MEMO-Cogen, Inc., Mr. Mollin worked at several Wall Street investment firms, including Smith Barney, Lehman Brothers, UBS and Tradition Energy (or a predecessor firm to some of the foregoing). Mr. Mollin has extensive practical experience in equity, fixed income, private equity and energy futures trading as well as derivative-based, risk management strategies. Mr. Mollin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College, School of Communications (1989).

Nathan Katzenstein

Nathan Katzenstein

Nathan Katzenstein has been involved in the Energy Business since 1999 and is currently the Vice President of Hedging and Purchasing at EPA/MEMO-Cogen. His responsibilities include; analyzing energy markets trends, procurement of On-Peak and Off-Peak hedges for pools of aggregate electric power accounts, counseling Customers on timing of Fixed vs. Variable Electric and Natural Gas products, and advising Solar Photovoltaic System Hosts on electricity purchasing strategies to cover consumption during non-Solar production hours. Prior to his employment at EPA MEMO-Cogen, Mr. Katzenstein worked for a New York based Energy Service Company in the Supply Department, developing purchasing strategies for both Electricity and Natural Gas as well as computer models for hedging and pricing fixed products. Mr. Katzenstein earned a Bachelor in Computer Sciences from Jerusalem College of Technology in 1985 and an MBA in Management from Baruch College in 1995.
